Almost anyone would become a little bit leery after being taken advantage of by a business. I would love to say that most people aren’t taken advantage of by their contractors. The reality is, however, that most people will be at some point in their lives. Even I have been taken advantage of in the past. You would think that I of all people would have been able to avoid it, since I’m in the contracting industry myself. That’s not the case—I ended up getting into a drawn out legal battle. Even though I won all the judgements at the end, I collected almost none of the money that was awarded to me.
